Elizabeth Amento was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She returned to the East coast to attend Boston College for a BA in Studio Art and Psychology, Brandeis University for a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Studio Art, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University for her Masters in Fine Arts. Then returning to the West coast, Elizabeth resided in the Mission District of San Francisco, having the opportunity to exhibit her work at Modern Eden in San Francisco and Betti Ono Gallery in Oakland as part of RUSH Philanthropic Arts Foundation’s Artisan Series Regional Finals. Elizabeth has also shown her work at Mighty Tieton Gallery in Washington, Baton Rouge Gallery in Louisiana, Modified Arts in Arizona, Frank Juarez Gallery in Wisconsin, as well as Boston Young Contemporaries in Massachusetts, among others.
